Hey girl heeeeey,
GAWD, it feels like forever since I’ve last blogged – not even going to come up with any excuses, it’s basically because I suck. Moving on, last weekend I created this fresh spring time make up tutorial which was an inspiration from the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately (hoping for no sudden snow falls). This look is something that I would wear on an everyday basis (besides the falsies) and I think that anyone can rock it! This tutorial will leave you feeling light, fresh and super bright and it may just have some heads turning around! Also, I wanted to give a big huge shout out to my girl Muffy for sending me over so much Dior goodies – I love it all! Black? Slimming? Always!
Today I wanted to share with you a rather simple ootd that can always be dressed up AND down with the right accessories. A few weeks ago I was in Unionville and wanted to snap a couple shots of my outfit to share with you guys! You could most def get away with wearing a dress like this throughout most of the year so even though summer is almost over, autumn is just beginning 😉
The top I wore is one of my favourite pieces from H&M ever (seriously, I have it in every colour). It is a black pleated dress that literally goes with anything and is so comfortable to wear. The material is stretchy, the dress hides my love handles and of course, the dress is black (always slimming!). Now, the worst part about this dress is that it is not selling this season. The best part about this dress is that there are always multiple variations every summer! I bought the dress in L and wash it every few weeks, it hasn’t shrunk yet and I’ve literally had it for about 3-4 years. I paired my favourite black pleated dress with a beautiful necklace from my girl Hijabi Mama as well as a pair of hot pink shoes.
Check out my OOTD pictures below. XO
Special thanks to my bestfriend, Fatma Pathan for taking the pictures.

Over the weekend, it was my friends Gaye Holud.. and can I just add that she looked like Princess Jasmine!? Absolutely gorgeous!! For her holud, I decided to wear a pink & purple coloured shalwar kameez and with that, I filmed a brand new make up tutorial!
I kept the colors pretty subtle on my face because I didn’t want to look like a clown, especially considering that my outfit was already so bright and colorful. I started with basic foundation and then moved onto my eyes. The eyeshadow was pretty subtle but my lashes made the look a little more glamorous! (Unfortunately I had translucent powder on one of my eyes throughout the whole video and only noticed when I watched it at the end) – it’s all good though, no shame here!
At the end of my look, I decided to try my new purple lipstick from NYX called Pandora. Unfortunately the colour was a little too dark for me so I decided to put on my favourite bright pink lipstick and was fully satisfied with the look =]
